The court does not hand out Eviction Papers and cannot give legal advice. Instructions may be obtained at www.nycourthelp.gov  or by contacting an attorney.

Payment Info

Please be advised that payments are accepted in person or through the mail in the form of credit/debit (convenience fee of 2.99% assessed for all card payments), or money order. No personal checks. Cash accepted at clerk's window ONLY. Do NOT send cash payments via mail.

Bail Info

Bail is the amount of money defendants must post to be released from custody until their trial. Bail is not a fine. It is not supposed to be used as punishment. The purpose of bail is simply to ensure that defendants will appear for trial and all pretrial hearings for which they must be present.

Moira Cooper, Town Justice

Moira "Molly" Cooper received her Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School.  In March 2018 she became the Labor relations Specialist for the Wiliamsville Central School District, and held the same position for Erie 1 BOCES prior to this.
